On February 13, the sensational book series,Confessions of a Shopaholic will hit theaters nationwide and I simply cannot wait. I have been known to shut down a couple of outlet malls in my time, yet I know when it's time to call it quits... MMMM, so ok I don't! Yet, I sympathize with each and every shopaholic throughout this nation and even more so this continent, because this movie will call for others to know our secrets.
If you're thinking, how can I know if I'm belong to this secret society of over energized shoppers, well let's see. If you're known to family and friends as the Fashion Madame, Fashion Maniac, or Phantom of the credit card,who's known to never control his/her spending, then it is probably been said that you are a shopaholic. Now if that's not enough to categorize your heightened sense of shopping then keep reading. Take a few moments and see if you can say yes to these bullets for a quick diagnosis:
a. You never pay attention to the amount of credit cards that you own.
b. You can't walk by a boutique or department store, without peeking through the window display.
c. Various places call out to you at night about their next sale, when you're suppose to be in a relaxing state of mind.
d. The first thing you do when you go to the Internet is to check the latest eBay auctions on your favorite designers.
e. Your conversation is categorized by your favorite trends and how you plan to start the next movement of uniqueness.
f. Your closet is screaming for an upgrade, yet you live in an apartment and you're not allowed to make drastic changes to the floor plan.
g. You go into a store to purchase one item and become overwhelmed by the fabulous sale, and end up with at least ten or more bags of things you're not really sure you need.
