Prestige Cosmetics

So as I'm doing my local search for clearance items at Walgreen's, I come across a wonderful closeout of Prestige Cosmetics. Now they aren't a high end brand, but for Walgreen's' standards they're pretty steep. So I opted to ramble through the offering to find several soft kohl pencils, waterproof eyeliners, and etc. The range of colors that they offer are simply magnificent and I'm definitely impressed by far. You know usually buying some cosmetic products from Retail stores, can cause one to be a little cautious. As it only takes one time to have an allergic reaction from a cheap brand to scar you for a lifetime. So I was quite the amazed and dazzled Diva, I spent very little on such complementing tools. Upon application, the eyeliners go on smooth and stay on until I'm ready to take them off or pretend to be Sleeping Beauty in them. Check on the various tools of their line of cosmetics at Prestige Cosmetics.

Word to All My Metro-Mens!!!!

Associated press has just released news that Curtis "50 Cent"Jackson is finally through putting the finishing touches on his cosmetics line exclusively for men. According to the masses, the line will offer several types of body moisturizers and supplements to enhance the male physique. Most are already throwing out their snickers and gag laughs as 50 continues to develop ways to keep his $$$ game up. If you're not familiar with 50' s portfolio, please check out the most recent publication of Forbes Celebrity 100 of 2008. 50 has been ranked at #26 and is worth an estimated $150 million, not too bad for a former drug dealer-to rapper-to self made millionaire, huh? Don't be so quick to shoot down 50's skills to make the dollars. He might just surprise you, once more!!!!

Rock It or Stop It???

Adele, our British soulful diva to be , is getting all glammed up for the 51st Grammy's and all us big girls are hoping and praying that she shows out as well as her voice did on the classic ballad, "Chasing Pavements". She has four nominations and I'm hoping that she will take at least two grammys home.

Unfortunately, Ms. Adele is in need of a little glam assistance. None other than legendary,Anna Wintour has stepped in to offer dressing her for the elaborate red carpet. Here's a couple of pictures showing your truly and her style. I will say that she is very stunning and hopefully she will become one of the night's best dressed. I can just see millions being taken back by her beauty. I will also say that she is definitely a unique and delightful artist.
But she should have completely STOPPED this outfit!!!!

Layoffs from Major & Minor Retail Favs

Goodness Gracious, our beloved retail stores are laying off by the hundreds to thousands!!! Last week, I found out that my favorite red spot store had just laid off six hundred and sixty workers across the country.

Now this just in, high end fav Macy's is said to be cutting at least seven thousand jobs across the board. What is the deal? I would never imagine that the Target would be getting effed by the recession! You would think that this would cause them to lower their prices just a tad bit, oh no. They just decide to alter the lives of six hundred and sixty workers at their own discretion. I can kind of expect this type of action from major retailers like Macy's, Neiman Marcus, and Saks to come to these types of terms. Yet, I would never expect for Target to do such a thing. Keep a look, more stores are said to be doing drastic cuts!!! I say let's see if we can get them drop prices by 30% to cover our grief spending or lack of spending.

Rock it or Stop It?

Ok, I've been trying to hold back on posting the bad shots of my favorite celebs in atrocious getups, but I just couldn't take or do it anymore. So here's my first installment.

I absolutely love Jenny Hud, but sometimes her stylist needs to be cut. I mean she has marveled herself into curvy statue type, and she keeps coming up short at the most elaborate events. Check out last night's ensemble, in front of the entire United States. Jenny dons a white top, with leggings, and mini-jacket and stiletto sands. No ma'am, pressed ham!! Her make-up as usual is flawless, but her units leave fans guessing. So would you rock it or stop it?

I'm definitely screaming STOP IT!!!!

Tootles,

Confessions of a Shopaholic

On February 13, the sensational book series,Confessions of a Shopaholic will hit theaters nationwide and I simply cannot wait. I have been known to shut down a couple of outlet malls in my time, yet I know when it's time to call it quits... MMMM, so ok I don't! Yet, I sympathize with each and every shopaholic throughout this nation and even more so this continent, because this movie will call for others to know our secrets.

If you're thinking, how can I know if I'm belong to this secret society of over energized shoppers, well let's see. If you're known to family and friends as the Fashion Madame, Fashion Maniac, or Phantom of the credit card, who's known to never control his/her spending, then it is probably been said that you are a shopaholic. Now if that's not enough to categorize your heightened sense of shopping then keep reading. Take a few moments and see if you can say yes to these bullets for a quick diagnosis:

a. You never pay attention to the amount of credit cards that you own.

b. You can't walk by a boutique or department store, without peeking through the window display.

c. Various places call out to you at night about their next sale, when you're suppose to be in a relaxing state of mind.

d. The first thing you do when you go to the Internet is to check the latest eBay auctions on your favorite designers.

e. Your conversation is categorized by your favorite trends and how you plan to start the next movement of uniqueness.

f. Your closet is screaming for an upgrade, yet you live in an apartment and you're not allowed to make drastic changes to the floor plan.

g. You go into a store to purchase one item and become overwhelmed by the fabulous sale, and end up with at least ten or more bags of things you're not really sure you need.

If you answered yes to more than three of the questions, it is possible that you are a shopaholic. So tell us what's your favorite shopaholic experience and why?
