So for the past two years, I've ventured into becoming a bonafide makeup artist. I figured since I have such an obsession that it would be best to start profiting from something so cherished. So I've taken a couple of sessions from friends, who are at the top of their makeup artistry game and becoming the next best thing. So here's my latest development. Enjoy.

So the wedding was a true blast!!! I'm so glad that I was able to pull off such a major event as my amateur debut. I still see and think about some things that I could have done differently, but the day went beautifully. I'm glad that my cousin had the confidence in me that I didn't have in the beginning. Man, I'm so glad that I pressed and endured my butterflies. Even though, I had a little time left to rush and do my makeup, I still came out such a cutie without dimming the light of the bride. I received so many compliments at the end of the ceremony and reception from family and friends. I only wished I would've carried my business cards in my bustier, but I imagine they wouldn't have lasted after all they were made of card stock (hehehe)!!! Next stop, definitely pushing myself into networking.

First Job- Wedding Day Jitters

Ok, so my little cousin's big day is finally here and what's my greatest demise? Butterflies in my tummy, I can hardly get everything that I have together, which is definitely more than little but not a lot by the standards of makeup artist world. So here I am setting up nervous about doing her bridal look, and I get asked to do several more people. Ok, the butterflies begin to move a hundred times faster. So I'm doing my best to work, as I know that there are other artist coming in to do their clients as well. It's about 10 of us, so we're going to be working most of the afternoon. I'm particularly nervous because I'm maid of honor as well. I'll be sure to post pictures, after wards. Wish me Luck!!!

My name is Creative and I'm an addict.

I've made it to 2010 and it's time for me to take this condition really serious, it's affecting my thoughts on the regular. Each and every time I enter a store or bargain outlet, I head to the cosmetics and just wreck havoc in my wallet. This obsession is truly becoming a burden when my own son recognizes that I cannot complete a journey of a store without scoping out all make up sections and clearance aisles for the latest editions of probably products that I've own previously.
